Please help

I completed the steps on this website going from 2.3.4 to 2.3.3 and then rooting.

androidforums dot com/incredible-2-all-things-root/444428-downgrade-2-3-4-gingerbread-2-3-3-prepare-root dot html

Everything went great and I was rooted! Awesome. then I decided to start uninstalling applications. I uninstalled something I shouldn't have.
I know this because the system gave me an error message and the message ForceQuit kept dominating the screen I would select ForceQuit
and then ForceQuit would immediately pop back up. I had no choice but to reboot. Now the system wont start up.

How can I start over and at what stage? I dont know the terminology very well. I just followed those steps on the above website. So,
if its possible I need some instruction on where to begin. One thing to mention, I am able to get to the screen that comes up by hold the down
volume and power.

o and i'm not the best at this stuff so step by step would be great

You're welcome!

While I have never used the flasher, I've always done it manually, I think it sounds like a good option. It runs off your computer so I'm sure it will be fine no matter what phone you're using.

Go ahead and follow the instructions through the point of clicking "flash" or whatever. I'm fairly certain the img file (the recovery.img) is good for all supported phones. I'm just waiting for a reply from the Developer while I look around for an answer.

If it were my phone, I would just do it. I really think you have nothing to worry about. If it doesn't wor, just flash CWM and yer-good.

I can only help with the manual way, and I'm at work so I may get interupted. But I'll try.

Download the HTC Drivers here and install them on your pc.

Download ADB tool here and extract the android-sdk-windows.7z to the root of your hard drive C: ---the password for the "unzip" is "androidsamurai" (correct password now)

Were you able to get that far?

ill let you know i'm dl everything from scrach so ill let you know, thank you again!!!!

ok i dl the htc sync and both links in the last post are the same.

ok i have htc sync dl and updated

ok dl the sdk

Oops, sorry DL link fixed in previous post for adb.

Once you have it extracted to the C: drive you should have a folder C:android-sdk-windows

Connect your phone via usb. If you are prompted to do so at the "new device detected" point it to C:android-sdk-windows/google-usb_driver

Open a command prompt on your pc. Are you running XP?

ya sorry for that long post i don't know how to fix the errors i just removed that post because it did unzip a file to C:, but as i said i am not good at this, the errors are still a issue.
