Hey everyone.
Im a n00b when it comes to the software of phones so if one of you could help me out would be greatly appreciated.
Short Version Story:
Someone sold me a phone and told me that it had a software issue. How do I fix this issue, or how do I identify what exactly is wrong and then rectify it?
Fro my memory, he had tried to root it , and failed.
It is an AT & T phone ( when turned on, it has the AT & T logo, but he may have just put AT & T firmware on it. He is Canadian, and I had thought he said he got it from rogers).
When phone is turned on I get a popp up:
Factory Test failed
"no package was found that provide the factory_test action "
Thanks a lot everyone. If anyone is local and wants to fix things, I'll give you $30 to fix (hopefully thats reasonable, if not let me know what you would like). I am in Kitchener/Waterloo, ON
