someone stole my N4 - any way to remote wipe gmail/evernote/dropbox

Over the weekend, my phone was stolen. I changed my gmail/evernote/dropbox passwords but that will just keep the phone from resyncing to new info. The phone still has access to all my old gmail/dropbox/evernote files. Everything in my life is in evernote/gmail/dropbox. Is there any way at all to keep them from accessing this stuff?

Changing the password should cause invalid sign in errors when they sync of try to access the stuff. Your only concern would be what has a hard copy on your device. Also, did you record you IMEI with your carrier? If so, I would give them a call to black list it so that they don't tear through your plan.

i immediately changed sign in but that doesn't prevent them from accessing all my old files :( On my next phone is there any way to not have dropbox/evernote sync locally so this won't be a issue in the future.

if this happens again to anyone here, it looks like the solution is "androidlost.com"

Android Lost

you can actually push the app to the phone. I wish i knew this yesterday because i already cancelled my sim card and the only way to activate the app is to send an sms after pushing the app. I can no longer send the sms after killing the sim card.

There are several solutions like androidlost. I personally use Cerberus.

You might want to give those a try, just incase. If the app installs you can use the front facing camera to take a picture when the phone is unlocked, see where it is by activating the GPS, lock the phone with a message saying what number to call etc.

If I'd have seen this yesterday I would have mentioned it :(
