Help something keeping my phone awake .

so over last few days i have been monitoring my battery purely for fun , but this morning i noticed a issue .

i went to bed last night at around 11pm and had 57% battery left thats after nearly a day of being on .

i will add that when in the house wifi is always on , but when i went to sleep last night i turned all data off which i dont usually do . normally have wifi or normal data on .

could a app be trying to get data and therefore keeping my phone awake .

i have screen shots to show the phone being kept awake for 8 hours +

i woke up to a bleep informing me i had 15% left . so 42 percent in 8 hours ? ? ?
when i got a day easily with just 43% .

something is keeping it awake can anyone tell what it is ? ?
or advice on what i need to do to narrow it down .

I've found mine randomly seems to spike its temperature and "radio usage". This usually kicks the temp up to almost 90

my advice to you would be to disable all the samsung bloatware that comes with the phone. It helped my battery life like crazy. Attached a file with what all i have disabled.

thanks i have now disabled all the Samsung stuff .

but i don't think it was any of the Samsung stuff making it drain so fast overnight .

i was getting a day and a half easily only a few days ago but as i do not even use the Samsung stuff i don't see the point in allowing it too run.

so last night i went to bed with 75% battery , left wifi on all night , and woke up with 72% .
have disabled all the Samsung stuff .

i will try tonight with wifi off (as i thought that maybe a app was requesting data and the phone was staying awake trying to get that data ) i have no idea if that's even feasible .

have made some phone calls , updated Facebook , read my twitter feed and flipboard and am still on 64%

so its all looking good so far .
the only other app i have installed since i noticed this issue is "google play music" so if i see any issues that will go .

but i think it has been resolved since disabling all the Samsung stuff .

I dont know how anyone learns anything from GSAM to be honest.
I notice when battery usage drops off quicker than normal (normal being a full battery lasting 24-48 hours). I've read things saying the actual usage by apps and radio and whatnot that it reports isn't 100% accurate, but I do think it gives a good idea of what's "normally" going on -- e.g. not what is the mystery in this thread.

I disabled my Samsung stuff, but I'm thinking that my culprit is the GPS being turned on for various unknown reasons. This has always been my suspicion, but I can't prove it.

Also, I've left both my blue tooth and wifi on at all times; I *usually* get the 24-48 hours on a full battery, though I charge it nightly. They've never seem to affect too much, though I only get blue tooth sync in my car, and I don't drive much. (I do, however, spend a lot of time at home, where I use my wifi.)

I'm going to report back in after a few days and see if turning Samsung's bloat off makes any difference. (Noted: I also updated to JB just after my last post, though yesterday was my first 'hot day' with severe battery drain since. Granted, it wasn't nearly as bad as before.)
