Howdy. I just joined this site today because I have a stupid question (which I'll ask elsewhere). I got my Samsung Epic 4G back around April and have been loving it. It's my first Android phone and before that I had a Palm Treo PRO and before that a Treo 650. I love how seamless Google works with my phone and wouldn't want to go back.
I've got a background in software engineering - I went into "semi-retirement" at the end of 2009 after working for 25 years to go back to school to learn new skills - web site development, etc. I'm just starting a new program in mobile application development: Android devices plus iPhones, iPads, etc.
