Two Tons 'o Fun turned into The Weather Girls . Martha Wash from that group was the singing voice of Black Box and C+C Music Factory while some sexy looking model pretended to sing the songs on the recordings, in the videos, and even on stage while the entire band pantomimed the songs to pre-recorded music.
Just a bit of music history.
BTW, Martha is a GREAT singer.
