Thanks for all the "welcome back" posts. I spent 5 weeks in Australia - a bucket list trip. Leilani and I saw everything we wanted to see, and met friendly Australian folks. It was a delight. We say platypus, kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, echidnas, wombats, one dingo, emus, salties (one ton crocodiles), seals, rain forests, Aboriginal rock art, ten foot high termite mounds, Uluru (Ayer's Rock), outback, cities (Brisbane, Cairnes, Darwin, Alice Springs, Adelade, Melbourne, Sydney, etc.) and even got a symphony concert in the famous Sydney Opera House. But best of all were the Australian people, friendly, bright, cheerful, and helpful. We didn't meet a grouch in all 5 weeks.
