"Call It Stormy Monday (But Tuesday Is Just as Bad)" aka "Stormy Monday Blues" (which is actually another song altogether by Earl "Fatha" Hines) - written and first performed by Aaron Thibeaux "T-Bone" Walker in 1947 - then successfully by Bobby "Blue" Bland in 1961. Growing up in the 60s, virtually all rock musicians knew the Bobby "Blue" Bland version. Bland's version was covered by The Allman Brothers. IMHO every guitar slinging blues singer is a descendant of the tradition and owes a debt to T-Bone Walker.
If that too much information, please pardon me. I love music, I live music, I make my living playing music, and nothing about music is unimportant to me.
