Sony X overheating, dying, camera won't work

My Sony Xperia is only a few months old. It's starting to overheat and dies while plugged in to charge. Charges only a few minutes. The camera won't work now and when I turn the phone back on, the flash pops up momentarily and then starts getting hot.
I've done two factory resets to delete everything and it hasn't been fixed.
Vodaphone carrier (god why)

A few months is still within the warranty period. Let Vodaphone worry about it after they replace it.
