Help Sony Xperia Neo screen isnt responding due to water damage??

My Sony Neo fell into some tea and i dried it out as fast as I could, its come around now and its functioning except the screen isnt turning on when I press the side button. Im hearing emails coming in, skype turning itself on, and the battey charging light is working. Do I have a hope at all to have a working phone again? Or is it completely hopeless? Is there anywhere that can fix it, does it need more time?

It is very hard to say that the device will come right to be honest. I can only suggest putting the device in a dry bowl of rice and putting in a very dry area to continue drying out the device. After a few days see if the handset is in working order if it is not, then unfortunately you may need a new handset.
