Sony Xperia or HTC one?

I have the galsky s3 and i can't stand the fact that it does not underline in red misspelled words.... I am now deciding bx the htc and the Sony Xperia. spell check, the web, music and camera are the most important! thoughts?

Easiest thing would be to put an aosp rom on the s3. Then youll get spellcheck View attachment 58988
One vs Xperia Z.... i love sony and the Z is beautiful and water resistant but the One is probably the better phone

what is asop and how do u download it? a theme or keyboard?

Sorry no its a name for custom roms based on pure android (Android Open Source Project).
I dont know if a stock HTC or Xperia would have the spellcheck feature.. if one does, it would probably be the Sony since they dont alter pure android as much as Htc, Samsung etc :thumbup:

I really hate how the s3 does that as well.

Why Samsung would take out such a basic feature is beyond me.

Maybe they're going to come with an S-autocorrect that underlines it in blue instead

Anyways, I moved this on over to the device comparison forums.

I'm personally a big fan of the HTC one.

Swype underlines misspelled words in red I think.

The HTC One has a setting to underline misspelled words in red. Only seems to work in some apps though - does in the stock Messages app, doesn't in Note Everything or Kaiten Mail (those are the 3 I just tested, using the stock keyboard).
