Help Sorry for the problem - announcement message

Hi,

Lately, (possibly since 2.3.6 update) I've had this message appear superimposed, in a box with black background and white font, when I'm browsing web.

"Sorry for the problem. We'll have it fixed and post an update in a couple of hours"

Anybody else?

I'm assuming it's Xscope (the browser I use) that is generating the message, but I haven't actually noticed any problems apart from this annoying message popping up.

Cheers

I have been getting this same message. It seems to have mysteriously appeared, and I have not been able to figure out what I did preceding it to bring it about. The message appears at all different times, even while I'm just on my home screen. I have an HTC Incredible and personalize it with Go Launcher, Swiftkey X, SimiFolder and SwipePad and several wallpaper apps. I occasionally download free apps from Amazon, but often leave them for later install. My phone is not rooted, I have not had any recent updates to my operating system (2.2), and I use the stock web browser.

I found someone else posting about this problem on the Samsung Galaxy forum (.com). The poster seemed to have fixed his problem by re-installing something called Darky 10.1, but he had a rooted phone and was making advanced changes that I have never attempted. I don't see the connection.

Please update if you have found what is causing this.

Hi, I'm still trying to work out what is going on.
I no longer think it was Xscope; I suspect it may be a Google generated meassage relating to the problem I reported (Not all my apps showing in the "My Apps" section of Market).

Slightly off topic but the apps problem was listed in their known Market issues and (am I checking the wrong page?) there now seems to be NO known issues at all!

Haven't, so far today, (and possibly not yesterday either - I can't really remember) had the "Sorry..." message which would make sense if it was from Google and they think they've fixed the problem - BTW, GOOGLE - YOU HAVEN'T, 11 OUT OF 84 APPS SHOWING!!!!
