Hi guys, nifty little forum you got here 
I'm a newbie to Android and only today bought a Samsung Galaxy Mini.
Trying to get Kies working so I can fiddle with ringtones, get photos off etc.
It keeps installing fine, then when it goes to load "Kies has encountered a problem and needs to close, we are sorry for the inconvenience."
ARGH, four times, tried updating AND both uninstalling .net framework, and tried installing media player as apparently that could sometimes fix it. No joy.
I'm running XP, can't even access the phone via my pc's My Computer, just says insert disk into drive, urgh!
Any thoughts greatly appreciated it's doing my melon in!
