Help "sorry! root access is not properly installed on this device" message upon rooting my Note 3 SM-N900

I tried to root my Samsung Note 3 SM-N9005 us8ng kingoroot application. But upon checking my phone for root using root checker it gives me a messsage with "sorry! root access is not properly installed on this device" what should I do now. Should i reroot again? Please help.

Did you allow the Kinguser or Kingroot request? To me it seems easier to flash a custom recovery and then flash the SuperSU zip in the custom recovery....

As long as you have a PC you could do this in 5 minutes or less with Odin and a Twrp tar.

I will try to do it later at home as i have inly macbook with me now..i think its only working on windows.thanks
