after doing all that the phone works but it is set to a language i do not understand can anyone help me toturn it to english mode on top of the screen it writes" Masukkan PIN and at the bottom it reads + Panggilan kecemasan after entering the pin where should I go in oder to change the language to english

Just to say thanks! i just tried it and it worked, course i was gutted when i lost all my apps but i took my SD card out and it saved all my music :D

hey guys.. i am from Philippines.. and actually earlier in the morning, i rooted my galaxy pro b7510.. i deleted some files leaving it r/w.. i did not put it back on r/o.. i wanted to install jbed java emulator but the ram is really low on space so i decided to reset the phone.. then the force close issue began.. i am not knowledgeable about android phones since i had been a symbian user for about a few years and i just decided to switch to android last year 2011.. i had bricked many android phones in the past but came up with the solution which i think none of the service centers had done in their whole life.. and.. as a noob, it was my first time to encounter this force close issue on samsung phones.. so.. without second thought.. i was frustrated to solve this,, and.. i came into a site which i think will give me that "solution" and here it is :

many thanks to the writer of that article, i was already in the pit of being hopeless but thanks to ODIN..

actually that is an android upgrade for galaxy pro but i already have 2.3.6 installed on my unit, and i just reinstalled it, just like what i did on my symbian phones back then..
i just wanted to share this with you since you already have basic computer knowledge.. it is really easy to flash firmware with odin actually.. (oh btw, this is my first time to flash an android firmware with odin because i was really scared to brick my phone again haha), just follow the instructions there.. replacing the two files (ops and firmware package) with the firmware for your phone...

and for those who cant make it, it is a must to have a pc manager for your android on your desktop (i.e. samsung kies) so that you wont have to worry about errors in driver installation..

i am really confident with this solution as i already flashed mine with this..

and voila, galaxy pro is back in action!! :))
 
mine is galaxy ace,,i tried to press the middle button but nothing happen..
i can't also get to the settings..
not only home screen..i can do nothing..huhuhuhuh..I'm lost without my phone..
help asap..
 
to change the language
pengaturan (settings) >> bahasa dan papan tombol (language and keyboard) >> bahasa (language)
then choose english..
 
you can change the language settings by selecting the settings button(the gear icon),then select the language or keyboard icon(the A icon).and viola everythings back to normal,hope it helped
 
I have a samsung galaxy mini which, after downloading the Android "WhatsApp" has stopped working and comes up with the message
"Sorry The application Samsung Home (process com.sec.android.app.twlauncher) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." "Force close"
I have 'forced close' many times. Switched the phone off and back on many times and taken the battery out and put it back in a few times - i am at the end of my tether, bringing it back to the retailer isn't an option, for a couple reasons, pleas, anybody help me, I'm also lost without my phone.
 
Hi all,
I have resolved it by these steps,
1. Remove the memory card (i think that app was in memory card )from phone.
2. Delete all the application related files from the memory card.
3. Put it back to phone.

It worked for me..
