Root Sorry

scairney

Lurker
Well having previously modded PSPs, Xbox's, and experimented with PC's, I had thought I had gathered enough information to root and upgrade my x10i to 2.2.....

......well the root went O.K. ....

.....I attempted to use the freeX10 beta 4 Rom, but failed to check I was using baseband .54, when I started Android it did not recognise my sim or any network connections...

....abit more searching online and I think, hey I didn't check my baseband, so I use Flashtool to flash to baseband .54 and then my phone just wants to keep restarting.

PLEASE... What have I done WRONG

OK, I think, I'll reset to fatory setting through xRecovery but it still try's restarting!!!!!!

Remove battery for a minute. And try and flash again. Either recovering using SEUS from Sony's website or flash to the correct version using SuperOneClick.

Try finding the right version....I am sure one will work:

Good luck....I am sure you'll get it back up and running.
