HI,
Just got new Defy. I am experiencing issues with loading many apps as they seem to only work if a new account via Google server is setup, the server is not accepting my numerous attempts to register a new account...so Im forgetting that option.
Im in EU via T-mob, is it possible to delete the T-mob installed desktop, choose my own chosen desktop, without deleting the necessary default settings that make my Defy function? Id rather just download my own calender for personal use , same applies to other apps as you might expect. I dont seem to be able to delete the default apps on the phone which is a hassle, can I do this or is ROOT advice what Im looking for?
Also on battery life I get one day only , Id like to disable the many needless running apps in the background which Ive tried doing but they are defaulted to active only a moment later- see Applications- Running Applications .
Anyhow its a super phone and with a little effort I think you people could make it happen....
If it looks like a root issue please provide a link, and lastly is there a link to a MUST DO settings for the DEFY, keeping in mind main use is calls , nav, and some chosen personal office apps ect?
When time permits,
