sound issues

[Android Question]

I have a galaxy s3 and when I listen to music the sound is muffled. I clear inactive applications and it goes back to normal but I don't know which application is causing the sound issue.

Next time it happens, clear them one at a time. When it clears up, the one you just cleared out is probably the one causing it.

I tried to close the applications one at a time but none of them seemed to resolve the issue. It must be either hidden or maybe a hardware issue?
