Sound Recorder on A2107

There is a Sound Recorder app that comes on the A2107. There is no documentation, no help, and I can't find out anything about it on the web. Where does it save files and in what format? I recorded a long file and it disappeared. Yeah, I should probably get another app, but the stupid thing should still work. Any ideas where to look?
