Help Sound settings?

Hi, I'm kinda new and I'm not understanding sound settings. I see I can create one and have different sounds for it. But does not seem to be able to store volume settings. Like if I wanted to create a quick way to have ringer and notifications be loud or soft..?

Any help/thoughts?

It's not like blackberry in this respect. Why not use the rocker switch to control ringer volume? You can link the volume of notifications to match the sound level of your ringer too.

Menu -> settings -> sound -> volume
