Help Sound stops working after using apps.

somtimes after using an app (Many different ones) the sound stops working. I've check the volumes, searched the web and tried everything I know. However I always end up rebooting. Then the sound works again. Once the sound goes out nothing that makes sound will work alarms/wheres my droid/Ringtones/notifications. Nothing. Really like my phone and don't want to have to exchange it. unless thats really the problem.

I did root the phone, however the problem seemed to start when I uninstalled Songify.
