Is there anything we as users can do to put some pressure on HTC to release source?

It looks like Samsung just released source code for the GSIII (source), and I'm hoping for a little love from HTC soon to help jump start our development. Especially for kernels.
 
HTC always releases source in their own time, and that is sometimes later for many of us.

The SVDO capabilities are our first concern, that held up the Thunderbolt kernel release.
