Welcome to the forums youngwalee47. Have you tried clearing your caches? tap on settings, application Manager then scroll down to Internet. Clear the cache there and also on Gmail. That should open up a few more MBs for you. Now if you can download Clean Master from the Play Store. The Clean Master freeware app automates this cleaning up function for you. Hope this helps.
