Help Space required for Lollipop update ??

philbean

Lurker
Got the OTA notification this morning that Lollipop was available for download, but each time I accept it just comes back with a message that I have insufficient space for the download (500Mb required).

But I have 2.5Gb space free.
Cleared cache n stuff but no joy.

Stock N4. Never been rooted.

Any ideas on what the issue could be?

thanks in advance

Shot in the dark, but try this:
From the STOCK dialer, dial *#9900# and select "delete dumpstate/logcat" from menu. These log files, if allowed to accumulate, can take up huge amounts of space. I discovered on my Nexus 5 that taking a screenshot with Debug mode enabled would also create a dump file each time
