I have a lg optimus l9 and my downloads storage thing is taking up most of my space, and i have a sd card, but i wanna know if i can clear the downloads thing without actually deleting my songs and stuff?

Can you empty a full bottle without actually getting rid of the stuff that's in it? If you clear the downloads you no longer have them. (If you downloaded a file to do something with it, what you did with it remains after you delete the file, but if you downloaded it to use it the way it is, deleting it means that you can no longer use it.)
