Need help. I did a system update on my phone about a week ago (DroidX) and now everytime I hit the space bar in text, email, facebook, etc., it takes me one step back. Its infuriating!! If you have a solution, by all means...let 'er rip!!

Wipe everything off with a factory reset?

Have you tried any other keyboards, like Swype or something from the Market?

I'd try installing a different keyboard. Try switching to the swipe keyboard, see if that has the problem, then back again.

When you switch keyboards, you'll have to long-press on the screen where typing is allowed and "change input method" for it to work.
