Spare Batteries

So, I bought two spare batteries and a charger for my TB. On most days, however, I really don't need them. I pretty much go from my house to the car to my office to the house to home. So, 9 days out of 10 (at least), they just sit on my bookshelf at home.

My question might be stupid, but what's the best way to maintain these batteries so I don't kill them completely? Should I rotate them every day so each battery (stock plus 2 additional 1500 mah) gets used once every 3 days? If I don't bother to rotate them, do I leave the other 2 fully charged to sit on the shelf or do I put them on the shelf drained.

Am I thinking too hard? Does any of this matter at all?

I am in nearly the same position. I bought a couple 1700mAh batteries, and keep one in the phone, and one at my office. Though, yes, I think you're thinking a little too hard about this.
