Jesus Christ, $14.95 for a launcher? Do yourself a favor and Google "Nova Launcher". It's not in the app store, but it's the best launcher for ICS. It's basically the stock launcher with more features and customization. Still just as smooth, just as pretty, and even more versatile.

SPB Shell is nothing but eye candy. There are no value-added features, there is EXTREMELY little customization, and the updates are few and far between.
If you want to give it a shot, download it when you have time to play with it and make sure you return it within 15 minutes if you don't like it. I really found it pretty worthless. The special effects are nice, but when it comes to actually using your phone? Forget about it - it adds nothing, and certainly not $15 worth.

Oh, and I agree with the above recommendation of Nova Launcher. It adds a whole ton of features and customization, it's free, and it works great.

ok so how do i install nova launcher as a SYSTEM app. the website tells you but they assume i know more then i know . i am a TOTALLY new smart phone user let alone a android user. so...anyone able to give me step by step how to install this as a SYSTEM app cause i want my widget drawer

You need to be rooted to install it as a system app.
The easiest way is to go to this link:
[APP] Nova Launcher Beta (ICS based) - xda-developers
Download NovaLauncherUpdate.zip, and install it through Clockworkmod Recovery.

i am rooted i am unlocked... but it seems that my CWM isnt working. i installed it... when i go into it with volume down+up+power i get to the START area.. then i go to Recovery.. then.. it brings me to Android recovery with the little dude laying down and a red exclamation

is there a way to get Nova Launcher to convert your Regular launchers folders over.. like i had my home screen and all 5 set up PERFECTLY!!!! now i have to rebuild all the folders again on every screen.
i am so anal about this to the point like all my google stuff is in a folder and it is all in there according to how often i use them and how well i can reach it with my thumb because of how i hold my phone lol.. so anyone know if you can do this?

Unfortunately, Nova Launcher keeps freezing on me. I try for every update in hopes of better performance, but to no avail. Unrooted.

The free ones tended to lag on my X2, SPB doesn't.
I tried Regina and Go.
With SPB, I made a folder and started dumping apps into the folder - FaceBook, Twitter, and a bunch of others - it named the fold - "Social," automatically.
For work spaces it has weather, notes, calendar, time, travel, blanks for you to customize, et cetera.
The downside - the cost.
I really like it. And it is the fastest launcher I've ever used.
