Help Speaker Phone Clicking

Hi All,

I have a problem with my speaker phone that seems to have cropped up after my phone was updated with the Gingerbread release back in December. Basically, whenever i put the phone in speaker phone by selected the speaker button, a very annoying clicking starts. Both myself and the party on the other side can hear it. It is loud enough that I can use it. Additionally, if I switch back to normal mode, the clicking continues.

Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone know of a solution?

I have had the clicking issue as well but using the phone normally. I find it extremely annoying.

Warranty replacement was the only thing I found. There was a thread on xda talking about which hardware versions were having problems.

Looks like the latest update from Verizon that we should all be getting shortly addresses this as one of the top issues.

I'm still having the issues as well. I was really hoping the new update was going to take care of this.
