The speakerphone function on my Samsung Galaxy Proclaim SCH-S720 dropped dead. If I plug in earphones I can hear, so it seems the phone thinks earphones are always plugged in. I never used them on this phone until now though. Since the speaker isn't working, I also can't hear the phone ring. I've tried slapping the phone on my palm, wiggling the earphone jack to see if I could disconnect whatever may be in there, restored to factory settings, all to no avail. I like the phone otherwise so I prefer not to get a new one. Any ideas?
