Speaking Caller ID

Does 4.2.2 on a Nexus support speaking caller ID? I looked for "settings/text to speech/speak incoming caller id" like my Droix X2 had and it does not seem to be there or anywhere else?

Do I need a third party app for that? If I am forced to go that route, what is a good free one?

Hmm. I never knew about the Accessibility options before and Talkback. Spoken caller id sounds great. But unfortunately, I just tried it on my N4 and it made all the buttons almost impossible to push - had to touch them 10-20 times before anything would register.

Turned back off.

Have you tried switching Keyboard Echo off?
