The only special section would be our VZW root subforum for the G2.
At this time, we haven't branched into root subforums for the G3 because the only unlocked bootloader is the T-Mobile variant so there's not much discussion to be had beyond the root process itself. In those cases, we have tagged the threads pretty well to distinguish which roots to use by variant.
As for general non root issues, I don't think there's enough difference in any of the variants to require a special subforum. There's varying carrier added apps and a few differences in menu options and so forth, but the overall function of the devices should be essentially the same.

The main difference is in cases. The Verizon variant is a bit thicker.
I've heard the verzion phone is a bit heavier, and the buttons a little different perhaps? Basically, that Verizon's version was compromised in some way.

The buttons are smaller to make room for the integrated wireless charging coil.
Do we know why it's heavier, if it is?

I would guess the charging coil would add weight.
