Well yes as the original poster has stated --The spectrum refarming has started, gradually most markets LTE spectrum amount will go up as more people move to VoLTE, Metro has said that most markets will go to 10mhz by the end of the year which is the amount Verizon & AT&T use at this moment.

--Down here in Palm Beach we use to be on 3mhz of spectrum & the average speed was about 2-3mbps now we're on 5mhz & the average now is 6mbps so far during speedtest I peaked @7.2mbps then it went down to 6.3mbps
Everything except the top 3 are when it was 3mhz http://db.tt/Rm2b6I8G http://db.tt/5VdQFoQm

--There have been 2 (confirmed) phones so far that support VoLTE & there will be more phones added on VoLTE after they send out the software updates

My 4G was gone for about an hour earlier today so when it came back i took a speed test. During the speed test I started to peak @10Mbps then it averaged out at 9mbps but I ain't complaining because yesterday morning I would get about 2-3mbps then last night it went up to 6-7mbps now it averages 9mbps so I am extremely happy with my Unlimited 4G for $50 a month where I get basically the same speeds as people who pay over $80 a month http://db.tt/NOKpqlvb

Well they're doing the refarming gradually the more people with a 4G phone in your area the more spectrum they can take from 1x/3G, in my area up to early August I only knew about 6 people on my metro over here with a 4G phones everyone else had the admire but within the last 4 months basically everyone has upgraded to 4G

Why do i get slow speeds?? I don't even get 1mgb??? I'm on 4g all the time but i never go past 1 mgb

It's all about the area and where you are located within the coverage map. Generally the people within the City will get the best speeds and the other people that are out on the "line" of where LTE begins and ends, get the lower speeds. But people in the City can also get awful speeds depending on where your located. It's all about the area.

Somthing Metro will hopefully fix in the future.

Miami, fl here and I always got 2-3mbs down and some times 1mbs in areas. This morning internet felt zippy and checked the speed and im getting consistently 6-7mbs down every test!!! Insane for 70 a month. Glad I decided to stay with metro then having to fork up the extra money a month ^^

2012-11-09-11-24-53.jpgi am in Dallas Texas again and I took another speed test using my LG motion with 3032 prl and it's really populated here and I get good coverage I am really great with my internet speed I get i am on the 5mhz bandwidth and it's really fast!

i normally get 1.3 mgs i use to get about 1.7 but im not sure what happened. tryed dif prls and nothing works. o well

How do you guys know what areas are on what amount of spectrum? Im in the orlando area..i know before i use to get 2-3 but for awhile now i get 4-6..but some other places in orlando like oak ridge area i get horrible barely .80mb steady..where can i find out what area has what spectrum??

If your on the S3 get into service mode somehow and it'll tell you under the RF menu I can tell you though the whole Orlando market is on 5MHz they do the spectrum configuration by market not tower

Mannnn, I just got this liddle biddy garden hose here. :(
