Yeah, Google's own speech to text works great. It might already be installed. If your keyboard has a microphone icon/button, press that and then you can talk and it will transcribe it to text for you.
A good way to see if you have what you need installed is to put the Google search widget on one of your home screens. It has a microphone icon on it - press it and you will be able to say something to search. You can even say "text [name]" and then continue talking the message. It would then open up a text message to that person with the message you spoke.
i am having trouble with my voice to text feature ... does it only work if you have internet connection? Because i don't have a data plan and can only use it when i have the wifi going
