Help Speech to text

I've got the Samsung Note 5,and I cannot figure out how to use speech to text. Does anyone know what to click to be able to do this?

Try going to a text entry field (like sms for example) and pressing the mic key on your keyboard.

There is also voice commands/searches that can be executed from google now or by saying "ok google"

Not sure if that helps. Can you be more specific about what you're trying to do.

There is no mic key. I've searched Google. The only results are texts to speech.

I'm not sure why it show up..it shows on my Samsung on my s4.

Two thoughts

1- try another keyboard (like Google keyboard from playstore)
