Help Speed Dial keypad issue

I have a problem with speed dialing on my myTouch4G. When I long press a key the speed dial does not work. I have to then press the backspace key and then when I press the speed dial key again, it works as it is supposed to and calls number assigned to that speed dial key.

Has anyone else seen this? I am running 2.2.1 on my phone and am using Go Launcher EX.

Seems that the issue was GO LAUNCHER EX. I did a factory reset on the phone and started reloading my new apps one at a time until I found the culprit. Seems GO LAUNCHER caused the problem for me.
