Help Speed Issue

I've been using my Nook 9" HD+ for about a year now, and lately it has become very slow. More often than not, when I am using an app, such as Adobe Reader, I get a message on screen saying that the app is not responding, and do I want to close it or wait - more often that not I will get this message 2 or 3 times when using an app.

Also my Nook seems to have a habit of returning me to the homescreen when I am in an app - I get a message at the top of the screen telling me that my library is synchronising and then my Nook returns me to the homescreen. I have to go back in the app, which a few seconds goes back to the homescreen. It takes 2 or 3 "returns" to the app before I can use it properly.

I've cleared the cache and data, but that doesn't seem to help the issue. Also I'm running Apex Launcher rather than the default B&N one, but can't see how that can cause a problem.

Is there anything I can do to solve these issues, and return my Nook to a usable state - at the moment it sometimes gets too slow to use

Jon

Try Low on Space? Dump logcat

Or back everything up, do a factory reset, install your apps one at a time and see if one of them is causing the problem. (The last one you installed before the problem reappears is probably the culprit.)

how often do you turn your device completely off? this can sometimes help with issues like yours.

also factory reset should definitely solve your issue as well.
