Speedbit Video Accelerator?

This is a really useful bit of software for anyone that streams video eg. from youtube on their pc's.

Speedbit have made an app for the iphone but there doesn't appear to be one for android. Does anyone have any suggestions? The idea is to stream live sport onto my HTC Desire like iphone users can do with their sky sports app without the constant buffering.

A least for my Droid X there are modifications for rooted phones using some ROMs that allow me to uncap my transfer speeds when using 3g. This has made a noticeable difference in streaming, increasing both upload and download speed. Don't now if there are comparable mods for the Desire.

I've rooted my Desire (it's actually a Z) and got s-off with an overclocked processor of 1.2Ghz.

Still can't get proper streaming for live footy though. It displays the flash video, plays for about 5 seconds then buffers for the next minute.

Youtube app works fine though in 3g network areas.
