Speedtest when tethered

I've been testing LTE network here in NYC for the past 9days and absolutely love the network and my Bolt. Since the Speedtest.app is totally broken I've been carrying my laptop around and tethering so I can get the best out of my Bolt. Noticed that when used USB cable in Internet connection mode, I'm getting latency 20+ms lower and much higher upload speeds.

Please post your own speedtests and note which metro area you're testing it from and if you're using USB or WiFi to tether.

I'm in the Atlanta 4G extended network. I used wifi tethering. heres my speeds.

I'm sure that if you used USB port instead your latency will go under 100ms and speeds drastically increase. Worth trying if you have a Windows box.

New absolute record:

Tested downloading a small torrent file to make sure the speeds are for real.. Was downloading at 5MBytes/sec. Using my phone's internet connection!!! Madness!!!

As of today 3-27-11, in Manhattan, New York and Staten Island, NY im getting these results as I use mobile hotspot to my laptop
