Help spell check on the MYTOUCH

I just got the MY Touch 4G. Coming from the Curve I am use to spell checking my emails/texts AFTER i write them... is there really no way to do so on a andriod?? Thats a huge problem for me... i like to write long emails and then spell check them... Please help a newbie

Settings>Language&Keyboard>Touch Input>Text Input

Youll find it there. We definitely do have spell correction. Hope that helps!
