spell check

how do you spell check?

I wish this was integrated like it is into Chrome - where all misspelled words are underlined and are given correction options if clicked on ..

(same as for BlackBerry .. or Word .. or many others ..)

what do you recommend?

how do you manage? especially offline?

If you mean on my phone, my HTC does do a red underline in some apps (e.g. the HTC message app). Mainly I let Swiftkey handle stuff, though you need to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't override what you meant because it thinks it knows better!

But in general I rely on knowing how to spell, and proof-reading if it's important. I always warn students not to rely on spell checkers, because there are many errors they can't spot, e.g. where the misspelled or mistyped word is a valid word but not the right one.

I just wish there was something more universal - system wide .. would help spot and fix a misspell ..

maybe there is some software ..
