[SPOILERS] Walking Dead Discussion

end of the world... I am surprised there aren't more random hookups...
no strings bootie every chance they find a safe hideaway.

I think I'm starting to lose interest in that show :(
Just like the show, "Lost", it was fun in the beginning, but just getting to be a variation on the same theme.

new episode..

when the group showed up at the new compound.
new group with guns.. and hardly anyone came to see whats up?

Maggie looks so pale! she needs some sun!

I think he and Carol are a good fit....seemed like they were going that way from season 2 through season 5. Not sure what happened.

yeah.. i noticed some kind of bond between Darryl and Carol. but that is not a good romantic combo.

I hope Rick taught Carl about condoms. I can picture the conversation going something like: "C'mere, son, let me talk to you for a minute. I've seen how you look at that Enid girl. Wrap it up, Coral!" :p

last episodes are really great and also i did not expected this kind of ending in episode 10.

also what do you think, will they ever go to Washington and where is the president ?

Good episode, but I hate to see Carol go soft. If they can't count on Carol to be a ruthless bitch, that's bad news for the group. She almost got herself and Maggie killed by missing the kill shot on that guy in the woods, but he ended up dying anyway.

I thought she was faking it, & was really disappointed to see that she wasn't. It seems weird after all this time for her to suddenly be bothered by killing people, I don't like this big change in her personality & I don't think it makes sense.

I felt she was stressing having to kill ppl that had a chance to be "saved" instead..

Yeah but since she's never acted that way, it didn't make sense to me. She started off as a meek housewife & had to eventually learn to kill - I could totally buy into this behavior if it was early on in the series, but not now.

Just a few episodes ago she was fighting Morgan because she wanted to kill that wolf he had tied up, but in just a few weeks she thinks bad people can be saved? It feels like they want to wuss out her character so we won't care if they kill her off.

I mean, come on, this is the same woman who killed a little girl & barely batted an eye, killed Tyrese's girlfriend, threatened whats-his-name but offered him cookies if he kept his mouth shut? It just doesn't feel like a normal character progression.

Pretty obvious at this point that Carol's reaching the end of a development arc.

My money is on her dying by the finale.

I think you're probably right, although I wish you weren't!

What do you guys think about Rick's group running off & killing all those people in the other group? I don't know anything about the comics but I feel like there's a possibility that Jesus is actually a bad guy & just wanted to take out some of his competition, & Rick's group just helped him do that. That girl told Maggie "I know you think you're the good guys, but you're not."?

I won't comment on Jesus because I've read the books, but I will talk about Carol (who died a long time ago in the comics and was a completely different character).

I don't like what they're doing, but they kind of foreshadowed her having guilt when they showed her keeping the list of people she's killed. She has been putting on a front, pushing down those emotions to survive, but now they're coming to the surface. Yes, it's been abrupt, but I don't think it's totally unrealistic. It doesn't necessarily mean they'll kill her off. Several other characters have lost it and come back, including Glenn and Rick.

Keep in mind that this group they just slaughtered had run into Daryl, Abraham & Sasha on the road and tried to take everything and make them lead them to Alexandria. So Rick had good reason to go after them. You also see the pictures in that compound that show mutilated bodies with the heads nearly unrecognizable.

This new group is comprised of some pretty bad people.
