[SPOILERS] Walking Dead Discussion

I wouldn't want the show to continue without Rick. Everyone else is expendable. I doubt they'll kill off Daryl anytime soon because the female fan base would riot lol. I think they'll kill the baby eventually, just for the shock value. The only character so far that I really wish they wouldn't have killed is Andrea. Yeah, she was annoying on the show, but an important character in the books. A bad-ass sniper would come in handy in many situations.
Anyway, I really hope they don't run the show into the ground like that by having it continue for too many seasons. It's a money printing machine, though, so I'm sure they will.

I think they should bring in a major love interest.
spice it up some... some other type of conflict .. other than fighting for your life.
it can not be all killing ..this and that and them.

I like how you don't have that mentality that Carol is invincible. I could see them killing her off to remind us that no one is safe. Personally I don't see why everyone is hyped up over her, or any other one character for that matter. Not sure if they will do that yet, but it should be an episode with answers to a few questions

Carol kicks ASS! She has probably saved more people than any of the team. She single handedly saved Rick and the gang from the yuppy cannibals, she saved Hershel after Rick chopped off his leg and she took matters into her own hands and killed the sick people to save the group. (The latter which, I didn't agree with, but be that as it may...)

What makes Carol so great is not just who she is now, but that she IS who she is now given where she came from. I just rewatched Season 1 this week and HOLY CRAP. She has grown more than any character. Watching her sob and apologize in fear to Ed after Shane beat his face in made me see how stark the difference is.

From last nights episode it appears they might be reminding us that no one is safe. It is common for them to kill off at least one main character each season. Though it doesn't look like we'll find out in the next episode what happens. Looks like it will mostly focus on Abraham and his mission.

Daryl, Carol, and Beth-love triangle-GO :p

I always thought Beth was one of the most underutilized characters on the show. Cool to see her get tough and kill the perv.

I read something I wasn't looking for, or was really wanting to read but it didn't mention it was a spoiler. But it really was, it explained the Carol situation and thats all. Based on what we have seen in the last episode and the context of said spoiler I believe I have a better understanding of why Carol is on the stretcher, and have a couple ideas what they will do with her being there.

Wish we would see it this next episode, hate when they jump story to story

Carol (at least, I think it was her) was on the stretcher.. because it was part of their (Daryl and Carol) plan .. how to get inside and evaluate the situation.

it is odd how....
Rick started in a little town..
traveled and found his family/group..
journeyed to Atlanta ..
journeyed to a farm ..
journeyed to a prison...
journeyed to a cannibal camp...
journeyed to a church...
then we are back in Atlanta at a hospital.
do they just like to walk in big circles????

this last episode.. kind of sucks.

1. I would kick that smart guy'ass.. 3 times.
2. I would not follow that redhead military guy .. if he is NOT willing to get supplies.
3. Given the 2 points above...once i found the zombie town.. I would NOT go through it..I would head back to the main group!

question.. what is in that town.. that keeps the zombies in the area?

You raise a good question, what keeps them there. It could be as simple as the walkers don't always stray off for no reason. We have seen that they will go to a noise they hear, but surely there has to have been some noises in the area to draw their attention. Though we do know they are at the minimum 15 miles from the church as stated by Eugene at the crash site I believe, might have been this scene too.

It is bad that he lied to save himself from harm, but he does point out that he is smarter than most people. In the comic his knowlege becomes useful, as I am sure it will here as well.

Only a handful of humans left on Earth. Even fewer running vehicles. Let me just walk blindly into "the only damn traffic in 500 miles like I don't hear a car racing down the street."

That's so funny, they were talking about that on the Talking Dead after last week's episode. Ridiculous!!

Really. I hadn't seen Talking Dead as I was watching Sunday Night Football, so I didn't catch it the real episode until Monday on DVR.:p

at the beginning ... zombies could break down mall glass doors.. prison fences...
now they can't get out of sleeping bags and nylon tents...

the van falling... and it did full filp to land on its wheels again. great springs or strong zombies?

really.. letting a prisoner stand right behind you.. as you concentrate through a little hole.
even a well meaning prisoner has to take that shot!

it would have been cool to go back and traveled through Carol's journey .. when she was missing from the group.
see how bad ass she was .. when she ran with another group and be their leader or something like that.

I'm actually glad they changed the zombies a bit, when I rewatched some of Season 1 I noticed how fast & aggressive they were compared to later seasons. I think if they hadn't slowed them down, there wouldn't be any live people left to make a show about.

But last week I couldn't believe she was going to take that shot with the cuffed guy behind her, that was such a dumb thing to do, I never trusted that guy!

They also mentioned that the zombies were starving, just slower than the living. From that perspective, it makes sense that they slow down the further from the event they get.
