Spoofing with oreo 8.0.0 no root

Looking to be able to play pokenon go via spoofing with oreo 8.0.0 and most recent security update. I want to ideally do this without rooting my phone as i have no experience doing so. Samsung galaxy s7 edge.

You want to spoof the GPS location so you can play it in a country or region where Pokemon Go isn't available, like China or something?

Pretty sure it's impossible to do now, well not without root anyway

Well what phone have you actually got there, make, model, and carrier network? Because depending on what it is, it's easy, difficult, risky, or just simply impossible to root.

I'm in China myself, and one can't play it at all here, not without root and hacking the thing.

Samsung galaxy s7 edge.
Model: SM-G935F
And carrier network: unlocked using giffgaff provider

Giffgaff is a UK network, and Pokemon Go is available there.

Problem I can see with trying to spoof Pokemon Go now, is that most of the information on blogs, fora, YouTube videos etc. is out of date and is no longer valid for recent versions of the game. Because it's not as popular as it was, and Niantic have no doubt tightened up their security.
