Spotting phones in movies

Does anyone else do this?

I do, so I started a blog last month (link is in my sig), basically I find screencaps from movies showing a phone being used and then try and identify the phone if possible. I have about 80 entries so far. Yes it's a bit pointless but it keeps me amused.

If anyone's got any movie suggestions just let me know.

"Sex and the city 2" as far as i remember one of the girls has a smarthphone.. i won't tell what model since you're trying to indentify it :)
 
I don't have any suggestions off the top of my head, but I do find myself doing this to the point of distraction when I'm watching a movie or TV show. I thought I was the only one lol! Nice to know I'm not alone!
 
I saw it mentioned somewhere that iPhones are in movies and tv shows more often now because Apple pays to have product placement as much as possible.

Like the old days with Coca Cola and various cigarette brands, etc.

Yep, and I am getting completely sick of seeing it. I swear every movie I see these days has an iPhone in it. I watched Mission Impossible, and 50/50 over the weekend and both movies had iPhones. I would love to see a movie with the main character using a real phone, that doesn't have an extremely tiny screen.

Yeah, they won't grow the screens much in iPhones because they want iPhone users to squint so that will trigger a response and collar-grab by an Apple floor monkey in the store who will drag you to the iPad area.

Solution: never, ever go into an Apple store. Ta-daa.
