Root [Sprint] ALMOST happy with Sprint Note 2 ..Help!

I just recently traded my iPhone 5 for a Note 2, I love it! I've always went back and forth between Android's and iPhone's but this time the Note 2 is way better than my previous device!

I had ran the Rooting program completely then I noticed, I'm on 4.1.2

Pretty mad that I can't root, I'm learning about all the benefits to rooted device and yesterday I actually saw lots of things I would've downloaded IF I didn't see "Device must be rooted" in the description! :(

I want to download a few things also but it seems like they've all been done away with.. I would like to get the Play Station 1 Emulator and a Game Boy Advanced Emulator. I've looked around on Youtube and the link's to Blackmarket was broken.

Is there any way I can root my device or downgrade my version back to 4.1.1

Can't wait to play Final Fantasy 7 on my huge screen!! :D:D:D

If your phone is on MA7 firmware which is android 4.1.2 you can root via mskips toolkit 3.0. You would use option 42 and the use the LJC option to root. LJC was previous firmware but it still works for root on MA7. You can find the toolkit over on xda.

Hey thanks so much! I realized that when I did this yesterday I picked option 41 and when I got into Odin I loaded the Recovery file into the Bootloader section and not the PDA section.:rolleyes:

Thanks so much! I can't wait to do more stuff with this phone now :D

What's this black market apk. I mean I'm looking at it after a search on 4shared but, is it just an inverted play store or is it something different? The reason I ask is because I've been using a new (aroma gapps 4.2) to flash with some roms & when I open the play store, it says Black Market in the top left. Is this what you guys are referring to? tia

It's definitely an app we shouldn't talk in a forum about... It is one of several markets that offer the majority of any apps for free
