Root [Sprint] Can't load ROM onto phone

I recently rooted my phone and downloaded the ViperOne ROM onto my computer. However, when I try to move the zip file from my computer to phone it says that my phone is disconnected or something. If I go to ADB devices it shows my phone but I can't load it that way either. I can transfer other files to my phone, just not the zip. Any ideas?
