Root Sprint Cell Tower Too Far Away

At my place of employment, the Sprint signal is so weak that throttle speeds seem quick. Is there ANY way to force the device to use another tower even if it is through a competitors? The only carrier that has a useful signal there is AT&T. Thanks for any advice. Device is rooted and I have a PC available.
