Root [Sprint/Cricket] 4G/LTE not working with custom rom?

I'm on cyanogenmod and I can't use 4G/LTE at all on my phone... I can only connect if I use 3G only.

Did anyone have a similar experience?

I haven't. Have you tried to restore you phone back to stock to see if it workes? Also, what ROM are you using and modem?

Apn configuration is messed up. Happened to me 2 out of 5 flashes. Try apn backup and restore. (Won't work after 4.1.2 ) if this fails you can always try to manually Set he apns...
