Root [Sprint/Cricket] current root method

Well I'm fully rooted using the link below...it redirects you to xda...I watched video while rooting phone.
I didn't read any of the written instructions, just watched video and followed along and everything went without a glitch....did have quite a wait while installing Samsung drivers onto computer...I'll bet it took 20mins....everything else went easy. Good luck to all...and go root if you have a hankering.

The link below is the same as in the sticky Sprint all things root.

Just watch how to video below instruction #17

Hello, I am switching to this phone over this Sunday. Can I have the links to the 1. best recoveries, kernels, etc? All i've seen so far is clockwork mod and was hoping to go amon ra like I have on my evo. Furthermore, what are the best kernels for this phone. I have this kernel from xda that gives me unbelievable battery life. Guys please help, I'm excited to play with this new gadget. BTW do I need to use superwipe? all help is appreciated.

There's not a big selection at this point. There's stock and a mostly stock ROM. Nothing in the way of kernels, so far. CWM is the only thing available, ATM. I'm hoping 4EXT ports their recovery to the Galaxy S3.
